Looking at the WCHL 2025 regional distribution data. $300K total prize pool but Bulgaria hub is sitting at like 15% capacity while India/USA hubs are 80%+ full.
Prize allocation is distributed across regions, not globally. Same prize pool access, way fewer teams competing in Bulgaria.
Doesn’t matter where you’re actually located – you can register under any hub. Most people are auto-selecting their home countries without thinking about the competitive landscape.
Basic game theory says Bulgaria is the optimal choice right now.
Anyone with development connections should probably point them toward undersubscribed regions before this gets noticed by more people.
